About Us
Brooklyn Yoga
Whether you come to our original location in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn, or our brand-new, second location in Cement City, you’ll quickly learn that we are a heart-centered studio where movement, mindfulness, and meaningful connection come together to support your well-being; on and off the mat.
Brooklyn Yoga is a place where you can slow down, reconnect, and feel at home in your body. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or returning to the practice, you’ll be met with warmth, encouragement, and the freedom to move in a way that feels right for you.
Brooklyn Yoga is founded and led by Hollie, whose background in education, counseling, and yoga informs the supportive and accessible approach you’ll experience in every class. Her teaching is rooted in warmth, presence, and a genuine desire to help others feel empowered in their own journey.
Studio Policies
-
Please note that we now have two studio locations. Be sure to note the location when registering for your class
Our studio has a maximum capacity and we require students to sign up ahead of time. You can sign up right in the parking lot before class if you’d like! In the event that a class reaches maximum capacity, our software will implement a waitlist system. We are not able to accommodate drop ins at this time.
We start and end class on time. Our doors lovingly lock at the start of class. Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled into your space.
-
Students can cancel themselves from a class registration up to THREE hours prior to the start of class. Failure to cancel a reservation prior to three hours before class will result in the student being charged the full amount for that class.
In the rare event of an emergency, we will credit your account per your request, but no refunds are issued.
No refunds are issued under any circumstance.
Special events often require collaborations with other providers and additional planning. Some events can not be cancelled. Others require 48 hours. Each private event has those details included in the description.

At the Downtown Brooklyn studio, parking is in the BACK of the building, and we enter the studio through the REAR door. Please do not park behind the stores. Use the lot across the ally.
At the Cement City location, you can use the few parking spots in front of the studio, or park in the lot to the west of the building.

Bring a mat if you have one. Or borrow one of ours. Bring a water in case you need to hydrate.
Do NOT bring a full belly. Big meals and yoga don’t typically go together very well. :)
At the Cement City location, we have a kitchenette with tea, coffee, and water available for a donation.
