About Us

Brooklyn Yoga

We are a heart-centered studio where movement, mindfulness, and meaningful connection come together to support your well-being; on and off the mat.

Here, yoga is more than a workout. It’s a place to slow down, reconnect, and feel at home in your body. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or returning to a long-loved practice, you’ll be met with warmth, encouragement, and the freedom to move in a way that feels right for you.

Our classes are designed to support the whole person. From energizing flows to deeply restorative practices, each experience invites you to build strength, release stress, and reconnect with your breath. With an emphasis on accessibility, alignment, and self-awareness, you’ll be guided in a way that honors your unique needs and your personal path.

Brooklyn Yoga is founded and led by Hollie, whose background in education, counseling, and yoga informs the supportive and accessible approach you’ll experience in every class. Her teaching is rooted in warmth, presence, and a genuine desire to help others feel empowered in their own journey.

The Nitty Gritty

Pre-Registration Required: Our studio has a maximum capacity and we require students to sign up ahead of time. You can sign up right in the parking lot before class if you’d like! In the event that a class reaches maximum capacity, our software will implement a waitlist system. We are not permitting drop ins at this time.

Cancellation Policy: Students can remove themselves from a class registration up to THREE hours prior to the start of class. Failure to remove a reservation prior to three hours before class will result in the student being charged the full amount for that class. No refunds are issued under any circumstance. In the rare event of an emergency, we will credit your account per your request, but no refunds are issued.

Start Time: We value your time, so classes start and end on time. We suggest getting to class a few minutes ahead of time to get comfy in your spot. Our door lovingly locks at the start of class.

Location & Parking: 128 N Main Street in Downtown Brooklyn (directly across from Atlas). Parking is in the BACK of the building and we enter the studio through the REAR door.

Yoga Mats: Bring your own OR borrow one of ours!

We also burn incense in our studio. If you are sensitive to this, please email at least 12 hours before your class so we can adjust for your wellness.

Our studio plays music responsibly through YogiTunes streaming services.
